julia amor is now an open secret, a pop jewel that in the middle of a pandemic, she released her first songs to the need to speak of emotions without prejudice and without shame to externalize everything that we socially associate with weakness. 

With a perfect combination of guitars, synthesizers, and drum boxes that place it between the synth and dream pop, this Barcelona-based Andorran, influenced by artists like Hydrogenesse, Alaska and Dinarama, Cabiria, Daniel Daniel, Casero, Carlos Berlanga, Lewis OfMan, and ABBA made it clear that it moves with comfort in a pop of contrasts in which light-filled melodies intertwine with lyrics that deepen our deepest fears by being able to dance and celebrate as we face what makes us more vulnerable. Precisely from this vulnerability, but by opening the door to optimism, love is once again able to make us dance at the pace of our insecurities and to mark our way into light in the dark.
