Guitarricadelafuente… There are many elements of Álvaro Lafuente that refer to his roots, beginning with the diminutive of his artistic name, which flows from the Aragonese town of his grandparents. Or that inseparable acoustic guitar that also baptized him. That is why the sophistication that he faces acquires a special dimension in his music: fascinating and seductive. The Guitarrica of 2021 is doctored from an extreme originality, the same that makes him one of the most promising artists of the new decade.

The stoppage of the pandemic placed him in a different point of view regarding his songs, which leads him towards 2022 in which La cantera, his debut album, arrives. They no longer come directly from his guitar, but instead undergo a careful creative process, to play with structures and reinvent themselves in the studio. It's a new Guitarricadelafuente, but it's the same. The one with that personal style that made him explode from the very homemade El conticinio (2018), recorded in his room with a Singstar microphone. But now without hesitation to flirt with electronics and urban sounds.
